"The cloud has helped businesses improve costs in customer acquisition and customer service, reach new markets, push out new products, and minimize procurement and supply chain costs. However, without cost optimisation, they could be overspending by more than 70 percent." - Gartner
The purpose of this session is to review the topic of public cloud cost optimisation. As businesses grow and scale in the cloud, they quickly realize that controlling costs in the cloud requires new skills, methods, and processes. IT leaders are being challenged to optimise costs across the board whilst still growing their businesses and gaining competitive advantages through agility and innovation. As a result they are under pressure to do more with less, and often they are leveraging the performance benefits of the cloud to create meaningful differentiators and drive innovation.
During the event in an open and collaborative setting we will discuss the below points with likeminded individuals.
